n In celebration of Law Day, the
Ramsey County Bar Association
(RCBA) honored Ann Huntrods,
ViViAn MAson, and toni newborn
with the 2014 Law Day Awards. The
presentation took place at RCBA’s
annual meeting, Thursday, May 15,
at Hamline University in St. Paul.
Huntrods received the Distinguished
Humanitarian Service Award. Huntrods
is a shareholder with Briggs & Morgan,
PA and concentrates in employment
law. Mason received the Liberty Bell
Award. She was nominated for her
service as a public member of the Minnesota State Board of Law Examiners.
Newborn received the Excellence in
Diversity Award. Newborn serves as the
interim assistant director of the Compliance Investigation Unit at the Minneapolis Department of Civil Rights.

anderson-plc.com). Anderson has a
multidisciplinary practice representing
companies and investors in connection with domestic and international
corporate, transactional, regulatory, and
commercial matters. He has particular
expertise in the operation, governance,
and regulation of broker-dealers,
investment advisers, and private and
registered funds, and in developing and
implementing enterprise-wide regulatory risk management processes.
